Department

Global Business Revenue Operations (GBRO) is responsible for all systems, tools, business processes, and operations in our partner and direct sales community. With a lens on best-in-class support and tools to provide outstanding experience enabling our partner and internal sales community to meet their business drivers, GBRO is a high-energy, high-functioning team that requires versatile individuals who understand the business drivers, experiences, and how to move progress forward at an accelerated pace. About the Opportunity

The GBRO Organization is looking to add a Program Manager role in a critical new pillar within the organization. They are responsible for understanding and orchestrating Oracle's sales workflow and deal processes, as well as being the direct link between our internal and external stakeholders. This team is an extremely valuable asset to theorganization to ensure a clear and concise linkage for pricing, contracts and bookings. This role asks for someone with the ability to lead and collaborate across LOB’s and teams supporting global roll outs. Should be able to help drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Management

  • Host regular one-on-one meetings and staff meetings. Report status to Manager – Program Manager.

  • Participate in quarterly management meetings for GBRO and identify synergies among the greater organization.

  • Serve as a backup to the Director, for the Program Management Office; step in to make strategic decisions while staying in compliance and meeting business objectives.

  • Problem Solving – identify issues, analyze and arrive at a solution creatively to achieve the best solution.

  • PMP Certification (Preferred)

  • Advanced time management and analytical skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred Experience & Qualification:

  • Experience working successfully in cross functional teams

  • Previous success in strategically analyzing and solving problems

  • Previous management experience preferred

  • Education - Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 6+ years relevant experience

  • Demonstrated program management proficiency

  • Manages people who lead internal projects/programs which focus on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems. These projects need a distinct beginning and an end.

  • Manages employees who perform project management duties which involving cross- functional teams focused on the delivery of internal products or administrative systems.

  • Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.

  • Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with internal customers or department personnel.

  • Organizes project activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.

  • Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate

  • operational planning is effectively executed to meet corporate specifications. Demonstrated

  • leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills and analytical skills.

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically, four years of project management or related experience needed.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work cross functionally with Global Rev Ops Ops, Partner Programs, Divisional leadership, Corporate Systems, Deal Management, Legal and other teams as required, to solve issues. Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

  • Build and maintain business relationships with Oracle leadership and various Lines of Business.

  • Enforce Oracle’s guidelines and policies.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with immediate team

  • members to obtain buy-in.

  • Work with GPO team to make recommendations and submit requirements into territory planning teams for sales model support

  • Identifies working group in GBRO (and teams)

  • Working group plan for workload and report back with capacity ability – timeline

  • Identifies need from stakeholder (regional, corp)

  • Qualifies and clarifies ask

Stand up pilot program requests and initiatives from regional, corporate or Partner programs – e.g., Test Dev, Oracle/Partner Led Model, evaluate viability of program and form recommendations to incorporate into standard business models SME knowledge of OSvC, CPQ, deal reg etc to assist in optimizing processes and making recommendations to systems team

Assist in designing workarounds and developing new processes to support new initiatives and programs

US: Hiring Range: from $28.85 to $60.63 per hour; from $60,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
