What You’ll be Doing
The FedRAMP Technical Security Engineer is responsible for all Federal Compliance Standards, Statues, regulations that govern cybersecurity. The Federal compliance requirements are a series of frameworks such as DISA (Department Information Systems Agency), DOD IL4 (Department of Defense Impact Level 4/5) and FedRAMP (Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program). StateRAMP which simplifies cybersecurity compliance for cloud services providers. NIST SP 800 Series Risk Management (National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication), ITIL framework & MARS-E (Minimum Acceptable Risk Safeguards for the Exchanges).
During a Typical Day, You’ll
· Review and collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams on public sector client and supplier agreements, statements of work (SOWs), master services agreements (MSA) and other contracts to ensure appropriate information security and industry compliance functions, processes, and requirements are met.
· Respond to Customer-submitted questionnaires, and questionnaires from authorizing entities.
· Provide solutions and alternate solutions that align to Company security and privacy policies and processes.
· Identify security and compliance risks that require escalation to executives and leadership for remediation and resolution, including providing mitigation support for remediation efforts.
· Leads key functional and compliance processes at the intersection of information security, supplier security and risk management.
· Responsible to ensure our authorized offerings maintain their authorization, including oversight and management of monthly Continuous Monitoring reporting and annual authorization and recertification processes.
· Oversee and manage Significant Change Request process according to authorized offerings product roadmaps.

What You Bring to the Role
· Understanding of security frameworks, such as FedRAMP and IL4 & NIST SP Series.
· Excellent communication and writing skills in the English language and problem-solving abilities.
· Working knowledge of Data Privacy laws, especially regulations such as HIPAA, FCRA, FERPA, GLBA, PII, and PHI
· Ability to flourish positive working relationships among internal staff, internal organizational departments and external clients and suppliers.
· Solid understanding of internal organizational divisions and functions, with a key focus on communication delivery from line management to executives.
· Highly proficient with Microsoft applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· College degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in cyber security preferred.
· Experience with providing direct guidance and Information Security best practices for managing the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and security enhancements.
· Experience with life cycle activities associated with cloud architecture security requirements, Ideally, specific experience with cybersecurity risks pertaining to cloud based, Communication as a Service solution at all layers.
· Minimum 10 – 15 years’ experience in Information Security, and IT Compliance frameworks.
· Currently holds Secret or Top-Secret Clearance or must be able to pass multiple Federal Background Checks.

The anticipated range is $145,000-155,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
