Process Engineering and Optimization:

Developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for the production of lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles.

Designing and validating new processes and equipment to increase manufacturing efficiency and product quality;

Identifying process bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs;
Assembly Process Engineering:

Overseeing the assembly processes for lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards;

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve assembly line layouts, workflow, and material handling;
-
Monitoring the effectiveness of assembly processes, providing recommendations for improvements to increase throughput and product consistency;
Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyzing process data to evaluate manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement;

Conducting statistical analysis to detect trends, identify anomalies, and propose corrective actions to enhance product quality and reduce defects;

Preparing and presenting detailed reports on process performance, presenting findings and recommendations to management;
Process Documentation and Standardization:

Maintaining and updating detailed process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and process control plans;

Ensuring all processes adhere to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards;

Standardizing best practices and ensuring their consistent application across the manufacturing floor;
Collaboration and Communication:

Working closely with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes into manufacturing operations;

Participating in cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve overall production capabilities; and
-
Acting as a liaison between engineering, operations, and quality staff to address and resolve any technical challenges in the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering, Materials Science, or other closed related field of study;
Experience with process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
Experience with lithium ion battery manufacturing;
Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in statistical analysis and process control tools;
