Aerotek Traveling Construction Worker in Commerce City, Colorado

Job Title: Traveling Construction Laborer

Family-owned caissons and foundations company that values loyalty, hosting events like Christmas parties and providing toys for employees' children. A core group of employees has been with the company for over 20 years, reflecting the company's commitment to a family culture. Will be traveling across eastern Colorado, front range and surrounding states assisting with caisson construction.

Per Diem:

  • $155 per day worked.

  • You are responsible for lodging and getting to the job site

  • Per Diem is only offered if the project is 50+ miles from the office located in Commerce City, CO.

Job Duties:

  • .Lifting forms, steel beams, rings and lumber

  • Assisting in building and reinforcing steel cage for caisson construction.

  • Stripping forms

  • Assisting in pouring and patching concrete

  • Final site cleanup.

Work Environment

  • 100% outdoor work. Will be working in extreme heat and extreme cold conditions.

  • It can also be muddy.

  • This position involves significant travel, with 50%+ travel across Colorado and surrounding states.

  • The average schedule is 50-65 hours per week, with a minimum of 40 hours during the winter.

  • Projects typically last from 1 week to 1 month, with some extending up to 2 months.

Requirements

  • Must have a flexible schedule to be able to go out of town for multiple weeks at a time.

  • Must be ok with working in all weather conditions as extreme heat and cold.

  • Must be ok with heavy physical laborer (a physical is required)

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record

  • Reliable vehicle to travel to and from site

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • 1+ year of construction/outdoor labor experience

Details

  • Project Location: Multiple locations across eastern Colorado

  • Duration: Can be anywhere from 1 week to 2 months (depending on project)

  • It is a long term job, you will be going from project to project.
