Ascend Landscaping and Irrigation, Inc., Commerce City, CO. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson, Denver, Arapahoe, El Paso. 7 Landscape Laborer positions available. Temporary, full time position from 03/01/2025 through 11/30/2025, 7:00 AM -4:00 PM, 40 hrs/week, overtime varies, Monday-Friday, some Saturdays may be required. Workers will be paid Weekly at $21.35-$22.00/hr, $32.03-$33.00/hr OT, Raise at employer's discretion. Percentage of health care offered after probationary period.
Complete various maintenance and landscape install services of high quality in an efficient, professional manner. Operate landscape related equipment such as skid steer, loaders, sod cutters, rototillers and any other necessary equipment. Responsibilities include and are not limited to: performing routine maintenance duties such as mow, pull weeds, trim shrubs, debris removal and excavation, grading, haul landscape material, sod installation, and repair, shovel snow as needed, and other tasks associated with landscape maintenance and installation. Drug testing during employment for cause;Pre-hire background check required. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employee's citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. All background checks are performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2B workers, and all fees are paid for by the company. Able to lift 50lbs. Repetitive bending or stooping, able to stand on feet for long hours, working in hot/cold/humid weather. 3 months experience required as landscape laborer.
Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates corresponding deductions for available health benefits. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly;reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
