Breakthru Beverage Group Manager, Sales Training in Commerce, California

Overview

The Sales Training Manager works in conjunction with the sales and marketing departments to train highly effective Sales Reps. In Sales, the position entails managing and working closely with sales staff to meet goals set forth by sales and marketing. This role is actively out in the market training Sales Representatives and Supervisors.

Salary and Benefit Statement:

Any offered salary isdeterminedbased on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’sskillsand prior relevant experience.

Compensation package: Range: $76,800.00-96,000.00

This position is eligible to participate in a bonus program. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually.

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership in training of their direct reports as needed.

  • Complete training for all new hires and continual training for entire sales staff.

  • Strategize new Sales Rep training methods for specified market to be implemented.

  • Schedule work withs and attend to drive market success.

  • Support leadership with the career development and performance accountability.

  • Discipline and provide coaching to salespeople as necessary.

  • Partner with sales and marketing departments to set and progress towards goals.

  • Engage in one-on-one reviews with salespeople to maximize performance.

  • Perform analysis of training needs and effectiveness.

  • Collect and interpret data to determine effectiveness of training techniques.

  • Provide recommendations to people leaders based on analysis.

  • Supplier Partnership

  • Act as conduit between supplier and Breakthru for training needs.

  • Advise and participate in interviews, succession planning, and career pathing.

  • Act as the lead representatives for supplier interns and tracks internal supplier candidates.

  • Assist with event and general sales meetings, this may be by speaking or assisting in the coordination of these events.

  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ management experience

  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

  • Analytic and Reporting skills

  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone

Competencies:

  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.

  • Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
