Description Food Service Attendant, Mount Carmel Hospital-Colville, WA Under the general supervision of the food service manager, cafeteria / diet aide will perform as a health team member committed to customer service and the nutritional care of patients. When working in the cafeteria the employee is expected to perform a variety of duties for food set-up, delivery, serving, and cashiering. As diet aide, duties include providing meals to patients according to their diet order, food preference, and menu choices. Cafeteria / Diet aide acts as the liaison between food and nutrition services, the patient or customer, and hospital staff to provide quality food and service.
