POSITION Job Title: Product Manager Location: Columbus, Ohio USA Contract type: Permanent Business Line: Providing the most extensive product and service portfolios, where the airfield, apron, tower and terminal are the foundation for fully integrated solutions to support airport development and optimize operational procedures. The Product Manager has ownership of assigned products including assurance that products meet the consumer's requirements and are competitively priced. The Product Manager also oversees new product development initiatives. You will make an impact by... Generating product requirement specifications (PRS) and business cases to include budgets, target costs, timing and make or buy analysis Completing the creation of pricing structures and price positions for products within area of responsibility, including ROI impact. Initiating and supporting new local and global product development initiatives by providing strong business cases and PRS, developed through strong Voice of Customer (VOC), market analysis along with regional team input. Presenting an articulate and compelling proposals, across a range of management levels and business divisions. Assisting sales managers and sales support making periodic customer visits and supporting our travelling "Road Shows" and training events Assisting with pricing and profitability analysis and implement initiatives to increase profitability, use pricing/profitability process in combination with competitive analysis to assist regional product teams in identifying critical cost reduction targets. The talent we want to inspire has.. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical degree Five (5) or more years' experience with product / service engineering, product development in a technical or product marketing role Experience working on global teams in a matrix structured organization. Availability to travel up to 20% This would be a plus but not a must..
