Responsibilities

Create and place purchase orders for chemical raw materials and packaging materials with

suppliers. Align orders with forecast demand/production schedule and any safety stock

requirements.

 Track and ensure that the raw material quantities and total costs are entered into Macola once

the raw material is approved by quality control (QC) by the end of the next business day.

 Ensure that raw material invoices received from suppliers are entered into Macola for payment

processing along with correct payment terms.

 For prepay raw materials coordinate with finance when placing orders.

 Enter batch tickets into Macola to ensure the usage of raw materials is captured correctly.

 Engage with sales as needed to understand any changes to customer forecasts.

 Maintain accurate inventory levels as measured through cycle counting and physical inventory.

 Establish and maintain key relationships with raw material suppliers while ensuring adequate,

cost-efficient raw material supply.

 Review- new orders with customer service and production to help develop and understand

production and packaging schedule.
