Description

Robert Half has an opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer, where the selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and updating SQL structures, creating an archiving system, and monitoring and improving SQL Server processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating current SQL structures and designing updates to the databases

• Creating an archiving system to move old data out of production SQL and into archive storage

• Evaluating stored processes using monitoring tools to identify inefficient processes against the SQL Server

• Identifying processes that are taking too long to run and rewriting them to speed up and clean up the processes

• Continually working on development projects

• Utilizing skills in '.NET', 'Microsoft SQL Server', 'C# - Sharp', 'Blazor', 'Entity Framework', 'JavaScript', 'CSS - Cascade Styling Sheets', 'HTML'

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Requirements • Proficient in .NET framework

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

• Proficiency in C# programming language

• Experience with Blazor for web applications

• Familiarity with Entity Framework

• Skilled in JavaScript for client-side scripting

• Ability to use CSS for website styling

• Strong understanding of HTML for website structure

• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry

• Demonstrated experience as a Sr. Software Engineer or similar role

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
