Sr. Manager - Foundation Operations The Role McKesson's Global Impact Organization (GIO) is committed to making a positive impact and deliver against the enterprise mission to improve health outcomes for all. As a member of the Philanthropic Giving/McKesson Foundation Team, the Sr. Manager - Foundation Operations is responsible for supporting the grantmaking process, document management, and data analysis functions of the Foundation. The position upholds the Foundation's philanthropic vision through successful execution of the grant process. The successful Sr. Manager - Foundation Operations is a philanthropy champion and facilitator who will provide data and insights to help leaders evaluate the impact of the Foundation's philanthropic investments and inform future funding decisions. The Sr. Manager will report to the Director - McKesson Foundation, and engage frequently with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities The Sr. Manager - Foundation Operations contributes to the effective operations of the McKesson Foundation's strategic grantmaking and community engagement programs. Grants Management Administration: Process grant applications and conduct outreach as needed to ensure information is complete and accurate; perform grant due diligence based on compliance, risk, and grant complexity, ensuring compliance with IRS and other guidelines Administer post-approval grants procedures including the e-signature process of grant contracts Monitor grantee deliverables, including tracking interim and final report submissions and responding to reporting inquiries Track scheduled grant payments and prepare monthly grant payment information for approval; navigate payment systems and procedures to effectively, efficiently, and responsibly disburse funds to grantees, vendors, and other partners Maintain and update online grants management system, including data entry and oversight to ensure exemplary standard of data integrity and accuracy Develop and refine systems and processes to optimize the Foundation's grantmaking operations, reflecting industry best practices and emerging trends Follow and research corporate philanthropy trends and strategy, community needs, and priorities aligned with the Foundation's strategic grantmaking plan Gather and synthesize internal and publicly available data to measure and communicate grant performance and inform future operational and programmatic decisions; create, run, and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports in the online grants management system Develops executive-ready materials for annual grant cycle and quarterly board meetings External and External Stakeholder Partnering: Provide technical assistance to grantees and prospective grantees related to application processes, proposal status, payments, and reporting requirements Coordinate grantee and prospective grantee meetings and convenings, including scheduling and distributing materials Provide information as needed to legal and communications colleagues; compile data and documentation for annual audit and statutory reporting Track communication
