JPMorgan Chase Sr. Graphic Designer in Columbus, Ohio

The Consumer & Community Banking team is looking for a Graphic Designer to support creative design needs across the business. This candidate will be a key member of the CCB Multimedia Center of Excellence team, creating graphic and multimedia assets for external and internal channels, including digital, print, events, presentations, and email messages.

As a Sr. Graphic Designer for the Consumer & Community Banking team you will be responsible for producing a high volume of creative assets and interactive designs in accordance with brand guidelines. In addition you will manage and produce designs for campaigns and internal channels and work closely with brand/creative, editorial, events and communications teams. You will be a creative and visual storyteller, balancing multiple workstreams, and delivering high-performing content in a fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Design high-quality and innovative creative assets for internal initiatives and campaigns

  • Oversee the creative process from concept to design, development, and implementation

  • Articulate and present creative concepts clearly and concisely

  • Manage the portfolio of ongoing project schedules and freelance partner relationships

  • Participate in and contribute to brainstorming sessions, both internal and with freelance partners

  • Ensure all creative follows the firm's branding guidelines, and be a thought leader around branding and design for the Consumer & Community Banking Communications team

  • Partner and collaborate across creative projects with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate effectively across our lines of business to develop strong storyboards and effective production briefs

  • Present communication strategy and production plans to executives and business partners, with the ability to influence outcomes

  • Support a talented team of communicators in their individual and team goals - including leveraging new multimedia tools

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of design experience in an agency or corporate environment

  • Strong communication skills, including experience creating presentations and executive summaries to convey important business updates and results

  • Required proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite software including Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects, Animate, Character Animator, and Premiere Pro is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word) required

  • Experience with data visualization and PowerPoint design is a plus

  • Experience with executive communication and presentation support is a plus

  • Proven organizational and project management skills - ability to manage multiple priorities/deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment

  • Strong design aesthetic in layout, composition, typography, and color usage

  • Very strong interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills

  • Self-motivated, comfortable working on tight deadlines and able to respond well to changing priorities

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or similar discipline required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Canvas, SVG, WebGL and motion graphics

  • Familiarity with multimedia, digital, UX/UI and responsive design concepts

  • technology or financial services experience
