Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Software Developer in Columbus, Ohio. As a Software Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and maintaining Windows Forms client-server applications, developing secure APIs, and ensuring secure data transmission.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain Windows Forms client-server applications using C#

• Create and manage Angular web forms accompanied by a C# API backend

• Implement secure file transfers using SFTP and other encryption protocols

• Develop machine-to-machine communication using email-based data exchange and formatting

• Build secure, scalable APIs using ASP.NET Core/Web API, ensuring compliance with FIPS 140-2 encryption standards

• Optimize database interactions and stored procedures in SQL Server for improved performance

• Develop and maintain Windows Services for efficient background processing and automation

• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, network communications, and data integrity

• Ensure secure authentication and authorization using practices such as OAuth, JWT, and multi-factor authentication

• Ensure adherence to FIPS 140-2 standards in database encryption, API security, and secure data storage. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of detail-oriented experience as a Software Developer.

• Proficiency in backend development is a requirement for this role.

• Applicant should be adept at bug tracking to ensure software quality.

• Proficiency in C++ programming language is a must-have skill.

• Experience with GitHub for version control is required.

• Ability to perform AB testing to optimize software performance is crucial.

• Familiarity with the Agile Scrum methodology for project management is necessary.

• Experience in using Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications is required.

• Proficiency in API development for integrating different software systems is a must.
