The Senior Treasury Liquidity Analyst reports to the Senior Liquidity Risk Manager and assists with the management of Huntington’s first-line liquidity risk management practices. This position is responsible for executing on critical functions integral to the liquidity risk management effectiveness of the firm including the parent company cash flow forecast, liquidity risk limits, and liquidity monitoring/reporting. The role demands strong technical and analytical skills, an understanding of liquidity risk principles & regulations, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities for the Senior Treasury liquidity Analyst include:

• Leverage experience with SQL, Python, SAS, or other programming languages to drive efficiencies and support production of liquidity risk management core functions including ad hoc analysis.

• Lead the production of liquidity risk metric calculations, calibration, variance analysis, and other ad hoc reporting.

• Production of Huntington’s Parent Company cash flow forecast. Partner with stakeholders to gain insights into the underlying drivers. Prepare monthly reporting inclusive of variance analysis and maintain related documentation.

• Ongoing monitoring of Huntington’s compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidance (Reg YY, Reg WW, and SR 10-6) through an ongoing comprehensive gap assessment.

• Maintenance of first-line liquidity control environment including the documentation of key controls and their connection with liquidity process & related risks to uphold the effectiveness of liquidity risk management practices, policies, and procedures.

• Participate in the execution of Huntington’s Contingency Funding Plan (CFP), including coordination of event management actions during CFP activations & tests, calculation and calibration of early warning indicators, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive mitigating actions are appropriately maintained & monitored.

• Provide insights to support decision-making processes aimed at mitigating liquidity risks and optimizing liquidity management strategies.

• Participate in meetings with Senior Management, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and other key stakeholders.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with data analysis, SQL, Python, SAS, or other programming languages.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

• Understanding of a bank’s balance sheet and fundamental core treasury principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to bring outcomes forward in a thoughtful manner and summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with multiple, competing priorities.

• Knowledge of financial institution balance sheets, funding and liquidity, and familiarity with regulatory guidance regarding liquidity management (e.g., Reg YY, Reg WW, and SR 10-6).
