Senior Application Security Engineer

What does a successful Senior Application Security Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will act as a front-line and escalation interface to users, reviewing trouble tickets and dispatching them to appropriate technical resources.

What you will do:

• Develop strong partnerships with the application development (AppDev) community

• Provide AppDev community troubleshooting support for their code security scans

• Operate autonomously while still collaborating with other application security team members as needed

• Identify requirements for projects and process improvements

• Engage on projects and initiatives on any technical level

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years of IT experience

• 5+ years’ experience with an operating system and its commands/utilities at a user level; can edit files, issue commands, differentiate file types, find directories, navigate through the file system, etc.

• 2+ years’ production System admin experience with Windows and Linux platforms

• 2+ years’ experience supporting system applications

• 2+ years’ experience with managing various Security tools / resources

• 1+ years’ experience with deployment platforms as well as multiple scripting languages

• 1+ years’ Experience using scripting or automation to reduce team workload on repetitive tasks

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS or related field, or equivalent industry experience

What would be great to have:

• Advanced degree in computer science or a related field

• 2+ years’ experience in writing scripts in some administrative language (PowerShell / Bash)

• 2+ years’ Programming experience in any applicable language

Salary Range

$99,400.00 - $177,600.00
