Description

We are seeking a Segmented Risk Specialist to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is focused on ensuring the timely and quality completion of all control testing requirements in accordance with organizational guidelines. This role is crucial in assisting with risk management and control self-assessments, as well as in aiding the risk partners/business segment in the timely remediation of issues.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the quality completion of all control testing requirements

• Aid in the performance of risk and control self-assessments

• Participate in the identification and analysis of risks

• Assist in the development and execution of enterprise risk management programs

• Develop, maintain, and continually enhance a proactive risk management program and related initiatives

• Assist business and technology team knowledge to better understand processes and controls

• Work in partnership with technology Segment Risk Managers to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, business partners, and technology teams

• Provide support for policy/controls and process documentation

• Document and maintain internal team processes as needed

• Contribute to the team's continuous improvement culture by applying critical thinking skills and experiences to make suggestions

• Aid in fostering a risk-awareness culture

Requirements • Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interactions with stakeholders and partners.

• Experience in Quality Assurance and the ability to execute quality control procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites to manage and analyze data effectively.

• Strong customer service skills to maintain relationships with business partners.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

• Experience in Risk Management and Business Process Functions.

• Technical knowledge in Workstation Support and Cyber Security.

• Proficient in Data Management and possess strong analytical skills.

• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively in team settings.

• Ability to drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures.

• Strong technical writing skills to document processes clearly and concisely.

• Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and its application in business processes.

• Ability to apply critical thinking in identifying and solving problems.

• Experience in remediation processes and their application in Quality Assurance.

• Proficient in policy creation, monitoring, and enforcement.
