SAP Solution Architect

Full Time Perm

Way of Work : Hybrid - two days on location

Location: Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN

Salary : $125,800 - $188,600, plus 10% annual bonus

Relocation Assistance Provided

The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues within our SAP system. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules, integration points, and data flows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Issue Identification and Analysis:

  • Monitor SAP systems to identify issues and performance bottlenecks.

  • Analyze root causes of SAP issues and develop remediation plans.

  • Collaborate with business users to understand and document issues.

  • Issue Resolution:

  • Develop and implement solutions to resolve SAP issues, including code fixes, configuration changes, and data corrections.

  • Perform thorough testing of remediation solutions to ensure effectiveness and stability.

  • Work with SAP support and external vendors as needed to resolve complex issues.

  • System Maintenance and Optimization:

  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.

  • Implement best practices for SAP system maintenance and optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with SAP security and governance standards.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of issues, remediation steps, and resolutions.

  • Provide regular status updates and reports to management and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and user guides.

  • Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.

  • Provide support and training to end-users on SAP functionalities and issue resolution.

  • Participate in SAP upgrade and enhancement projects as needed.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP development and support

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP issue remediation and system optimization

  • 3+ years of experience working on SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP

  • Experience in technology transformation programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • ABAP programming and SAP configuration

  • SAP integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, etc.)

  • SAP HANA and S/4HANA

  • Database management and SQL
