Join JPMorgan Chase's Risk Management and Compliance team, where your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining our resilience and strength. You'll be tasked with responsibly growing our business by foreseeing emerging risks and applying your judgement to real-world challenges. In the Office of Regulatory Intelligence Management (ORIM), you'll have the opportunity to contribute to transformation projects, design governance frameworks, and manage business processes to meet the evolving regulatory environment.

As a Vice President in the Office of Regulatory Intelligence Management, you will play a key role in contributing to our thought leadership and strategic initiatives. We value your expertise in Risk Management and Compliance, and your ability to manage large-scale initiatives. Your strong logical and analytical skills will be crucial in developing and expressing innovative ideas. Your exceptional writing and communication skills will be utilized in creating concise management presentations and detailed narratives. Your ability to work independently, attention to detail, and professional maturity will be essential in producing executive-level materials and analyses. We appreciate your adaptability and ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across different business and functional areas.s

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic vision and guidance to drive agenda for the governance and framework pillar of the function

  • Champion business analysis for program, working on a wide range of topics to support progress across department workstreams

  • Research and analyze current business processes and best practices to identify process improvements; craft strong analysis-backed business cases for proposals

  • Gather and critically analyze diverse collections of qualitative and quantitative data; relay succinct conclusions to inform team decisions and direct project efforts

  • Develop clear and compelling communication materials for audiences at all levels of seniority and familiarity with work at hand

  • Create operating models, manage roles and responsibilities

  • Provide regular review and update materials for executive-level forums,

  • Manage Steering Committee or Working Group Updates and project scorecards

  • Manage deliverables and timelines, identify and communicate challenges and requests at the Steering Committee and Working Group levels

  • Partner with the Lines of Business and Corporate Functions, manage relationships to deliver consistent and excellent stakeholder experience

  • Draft strong written content for policy and procedural documents, business requirements, technical specifications, project artefacts, internal and external communications

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Risk, Compliance, Legal, or similar control-related function within a financial services firm, regulatory organization, legal or consulting firm

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills in concise management presentation formats as well as detailed narrative form

  • Self-disciplined individual who is able to analyze complex issues, drive resolution, and diligently track progress on the status

  • Ability to develop partnerships across multiple business and functional areas

  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver under tight deadlines

  • Self-starter who proactively seeks ways to improve processes

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees preferred

  • Prior experience in governance and/or framework development roles, strategy, process improvement or project management advantageous

  • Experience with data analytics/visualization tools a plus
