Medical Referral Network International Registered Nurse (RN) in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description: We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled nurses to join our team at our Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Ohio. As an LTACH Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with complex medical needs who require extended hospital stays. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives personalized and comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes or abnormalities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or LTACH setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
