TEKsystems Radio Communications Specialist in Columbus, Ohio

Description

Seeking an experienced individual to manage their radio communication systems and other communications devices.

Expects the resource to be extremely well rounded in managing 50+ telecommunication tickets that may involve data entry, troubleshooting, critical thinking, inventory management, asset management, etc. Will involve some data entry aspects to track assets. The candidate is responsible for managing radio systems and creating and/or modifying program modules. The candidate should also have knowledge of Intune, tango management for managing mobile phone devices

Education:

Preferred Education: 4-year college degree

Years of Relevant Experience: 6 plus years

Key Skills: SCCM, radio, Tango and Intune

Development Skills: Solutions design; Project technical planning; Analysis and design; Communication; Testing and implementation; Recommends software reusability guidelines; Plans and conducts formal mentorship activities for peers and/or lower-level staff via verbal instruction or technical documentation.

Development Tools:

Documentation: Create Technical documentation with application functionality and test methods, various flow diagrams (Business/Functional)

Skills needed for this project: Experience within infrastructure (telecom / VOIP)

  • Resolving tickets / critical thinking skills

  • Local to Ohio and comfortable with travel within the State

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel)

  • Experience with asset inventory

  • Ability to work remotely within a team environment and able to function with little/no supervision

  • Strong work ethics

  • Willingness to be trained up to speed within telecom functions, etc. of the organization

  • Intune and Tango management

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $60.00/hr.
