ESI, Inc. Quality Control & Quality Assurance Technician in Columbus, Ohio

Description Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships Plan, direct and supervise company quality control functions and activities as established by corporate dictate. * Prepare, obtain approval, issue, and implement company quality control (assurance) program manual in compliance with owner contract and company requirements. * Perform activities such as audits, preparation of company standards, notification to management of quality problems, etc. * Provide administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel - includes personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development/approval of in-house training, etc. * Act as liaison with owner, regulatory agencies, subcontractors and/or internal departments on quality related matters. * Ensure company standards are outlined and effectively implemented. * Insure adequate corrective measures are implemented in cases of non-compliance. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Four-year engineering degree plus a minimum of 8 years quality control/assurance experience or equivalent. REQUIRED KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * A thorough knowledge of regulatory agency quality control/assurance activities * Experience in construction activities * Proven ability to supervise personnel. * Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential. * Requires strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule. * Advanced knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
