Insight Global QA Technician in Columbus, Ohio

Job Description

Pay rate: $45-$50

The QA technician will be working with our Special Counsel section on a replacement case management system, and supporting other projects from various sections within the AGO. The position will be 100% remote but must work out of U.S.

Skills and Requirements

  1. Have to be in the U.S.

  2. Core undergraduate program coursework in computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field or equivalent work experience,

  3. 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications, performing testing, debugging, and code review, and assisting with analysis and design Reviewing software requirements and user stories and preparing test scenarios.

Designing and developing automation and manual testing scripts.

Executing all testing levels (system, integration, regression, etc.) to confirm software meets AGO requirements.

Detecting tracking software defects and inconsistencies.

Providing support documentation on defects and test results.

Preparing reports on all aspects of the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.

Interacting with clients and/or vendors to understand product requirements as needed.

Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

Providing timely reviews, designs, solutions and documentation as required.

Applying quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.

Running and managing testing jobs and test calendars.
