Project Director-Medicaid Enrollment Broker (Hybrid Remote) The Project Director - Medicaid is responsible for leading and managing complex projects aimed at enhancing Medicaid services and operations. This role involves strategic planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving project objectives in alignment with organizational goals. *Position is contingent on contract award. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Strategy: - Develop and implement project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure alignment with Medicaid program goals and regulations. - Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Team Leadership and Management: - Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including internal staff and external vendors. - Facilitate team meetings, provide direction, and ensure effective communication among team members. - Oversee resource allocation and manage team performance to achieve project milestones. Budget and Financial Management: - Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints. - Monitor project expenditures and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budget. - Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: - Ensure all project activities comply with Medicaid regulations, policies, and standards. - Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of project deliverables. - Stay informed about changes in Medicaid regulations and incorporate them into project planning and execution. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: - Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders, including Medicaid agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations. - Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and updates to senior management and stakeholders. - Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders in a timely manner. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Track project progress and performance using appropriate tools and metrics. - Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to ensure objectives are being met. - Document and report on project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform as a key member of senior management team responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and quality requirements of the project. - Oversee all contract administrative functions including budget, financial controls and contract compliance. - Maintain up-to-date and accurate knowledge with all applicable statutes, regulations and contractual requirements. - Ensure the project is in compliance with all applicable regulations and ensure all program/client services are effectively and efficiently delivered. - Establish and maintain a productive relationship and effective communications with all Maximus clients and other stakeholders, advocates and interested parties. - Responsible for all profit and loss activities including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecastinfand review. - Develop and monitor staffing strategy to meet all performance objectives required of the contract. - Monitor project performance goals and objectives. - Manage all direct report subject matter experts. - Work closely with functional managers to ensure project delivery and quality. - Oversee quality assurance and manage any necessary corrective actions to ensure consistent application of laws, regulations, policies and procedures pertinent to the project. - Propose changes in policy and procedure to improve processes and ensure contract com
