Process Improvement Specialist - BPI Requisition ID 2024-51987 Overview The Process Improvement Specialist facilitates projects and performs process improvement and resource utilization studies by analyzing data, work systems, and flows to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve job satisfaction, and ensure exemplary service. Responsibilities * Charters and facilitates multidisciplinary teams to prevent and solve operational problems. * Manages multiple projects and milestones concurrently. * Gathers and analyzes data to determine trends, identify root cause and make informed decisions regarding process changes. * Utilizes Lean, Six Sigma, Institute for Healthcare Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies to solve complex problems. * Converts data into informative presentations and presents clearly and effectively to all organizational audiences. * Spreads continuous improvement culture to all levels of the organization through activities such as education and coaching. Qualifications Education Requirement: * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field, required. Skills: * Demonstrated practical knowledge and application of Lean, Six Sigma, Institute for Healthcare Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies. * Proficient with MSOffice: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. * Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians. Experience: * One year work experience facilitating operational or process improvement projects, preferred.
