PAINT TECHNICIAN:

The Paint Technician is responsible for surface preparation and applying paint to repaired vehicles. Duties may include final sanding, masking, color mixing and tinting, spray booth operations, operate prep stations, applying primers, sealers, color, and clear coats. You will be working with potentially hazardous materials so attention to safety and personal protection are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely prepare, paint, and detail the equipment and trucks under minimal supervision to include unit disassembly and reassembly.
• Ensure finished product is of the highest standard.
• Properly maintain shop booth, equipment, and tools.
• Comply with paint shop standard work practices.
• Comply with safety procedures and address unsafe conditions before putting people or property at risk.
