Job Title: Maintenance Technician $28-34/hr

Job Description

We are currently looking for maintenance technicians for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will work in both reactive and preventative maintenance functions, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues in the plant. Basic hand tools and any specialty tools required for the job will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues within the plant

• Perform both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks

• Utilize basic hand tools and specialty tools as needed

• Work with electrical systems, including 480V and PLCs

• Handle mechanical maintenance tasks, including hydraulics and pneumatics

• Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repair

Essential Skills

• Strong electrical troubleshooting abilities

• Experience with PLCs

• Ability to handle inputs and outputs

• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase electrical systems

• Familiarity with conveyors and simple hydraulics

• Ability to read and interpret schematics

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with lifts, grinders, and diesel mechanics

• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems

Work Environment

This is a very clean environment as it is a food manufacturing facility, with the presence of both raw and cooked meat smells. First shift runs from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, second shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, and third shift from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am. Work days are Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required due to understaffing. Be prepared to work up to 60 hours a week. Dress attire includes non-slip shoes, jeans, and a work shirt.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00
