Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our Huntley Road site, where we manufacture large scales for the trucking and aggregate industry. This role involves troubleshooting robotic welding machines, presses, and other equipment. We have openings for 2nd shift, with potential training on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair robotic welding machines, presses, and other industrial equipment.

  • Perform maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Work with PLCs, including Siemens, Omron, and Mitsubishi, to troubleshoot and program as needed.

  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.

  • Perform MIG welding and conveyor maintenance.

  • Maintain motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.

Essential Skills

  • Proven maintenance experience in an industrial setting.

  • Proficiency in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Experience with PLCs and troubleshooting electrical systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic diagrams.

  • Skilled in MIG welding and conveyor maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical schooling is a plus.

  • Experience in industrial maintenance.

  • Welding experience.

  • Crane operation experience.

Work Environment

This role is based in a non-climate controlled metal fabrication shop that is clean and organized. Candidates should be comfortable working in an environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The position is for the 2nd shift (Monday to Thursday), with potential training on the 1st shift (5AM-3:30PM, Monday to Thursday).
