Lead Radiologic Technologist - Radiology East (Split Position) Requisition ID 2024-51242 Category Allied Health Overview Lead Radiologic Technologist - Radiology East (Split Position) The Lead General Radiology and Fluoroscopy (R&F) Technologist is responsible for the function, direction, staffing, planning and quality of the R&F sections and the respective site. Responsibilities Maintains the overall functionality of the general Radiology sections at the offsite facilities. This includes staffing, productivity, and quality of patient care. Collaborates with site directors and managers to recommend and implement changes in operations and procedures within the site as it would corollate with the Radiology section. Interviews and hires new employees; Mentors, coaches, educates, and evaluates staff; Provides discipline and dismissal of employees, when necessary, in collaboration with the R&F Clinical manager and Clinical Operations manager respectively. Maintains quality control and assurance; planning, collecting, and preparing continuous quality improvement information along with the QC coordinators. Submits recommendations for section budgetary considerations. Monitors sections organization, supplies and budgetary expenses. ? Monitors compliance with regulatory guidelines, providing staff education. Maintains a variety of section and department functions. This includes sharing responsibility of administrative call for leads covering offsite sections. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology Licensure: ARRT License reuqired (Active Status) Current OD License required Certification: Current CPR Certification required Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Radiologic Sciences, preferably in the pediatric setting.
