JPMorgan Chase Front-End Web Developer Vice President in Columbus, Ohio

Join our dynamic Consumer & Community Banking Multimedia Center of Excellence team, where we focus on enhancing communication and engagement within our organization. We are committed to leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of our communications professionals.

As a Front-End Web Developer Vice President you will create customer custom web applications that support various internal communications needs, including event registration, rehearsal scheduling, award nominations, surveys, interactive employee outreach, light learning applications, and how-tos. In addition, you will partner closely across the Consumer & Community Banking Communications org, managing the communications technology needs of our Intranet editors, executive communicators and event management teams, you will also manage and enhance the company intranet to ensure it meets the evolving needs of the organization. You will also ensure all web applications are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with the organization's branding and communication standards.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom front-end web applications tailored to internal communications use cases.

  • Collaborate with communications professionals to develop innovative solutions.

  • Manage continued rollout of Monday.com account across the Internal Communications team, enabling teams to effectively measure and manage capacity.

  • Conduct data analysis and create reports and visualizations to support decision-making and strategy development.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in web development to continuously improve our internal communications tools.

  • Conduct and lead regular check-ins with Communications editors to ensure their needs are being met.

  • Refine in-house custom web build features and offerings for our clients.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Proven experience in front-end web development, with a strong portfolio of custom web applications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

  • Experience administrating on-premise SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with the Adobe Creative suite

  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
