Our client, in the life sciences industry is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Tech I

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range:$22/hr

What’s the Job?

• Conducts preliminary diagnostic analysis of products for repair and/or troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, and system knowledge.

• Demonstrates good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Has experience with automotive, truck or boat mechanics or electrical systems.

• Able to disassemble mechanical and electrical vehicle components.

• Able to conceive of and prototype simple mechanical devices such as armor plate, brackets, fixtures, etc.

• Able to install new mechanical and electrical vehicle components.

• Demonstrates basic cutting, grinding, drilling skills and/or soldering, wiring, and electrical fabrication skills. Good problem-solving skills.

• Works on assembly of products to meet defined schedule. Assembles pre-made mechanical components according to print, manual, or verbal instruction. .

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma; 2 years of strong experience in conducting related electrical/mechanical assembly tasks; or an equivalent combination of education and or experience in a related field.

• Must be eligible to receive a Security Clearance
