Job Description
We are a family-owned company that manufactures industrial-sized sugar and flour processors for major bakeries. We are seeking an experienced Electrician / Panel Builder to join our team. This individual will lead our electrical panel building division, focusing on detail-oriented work and demonstrating strong leadership qualities. Our work environment is a fairly clean manufacturing setting with some steel scrapings on the floor. It is a very quiet and smoke-free environment, providing a comfortable and focused atmosphere for our employees. The work schedule is first shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, with some Fridays from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Build and assemble electrical panels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Utilize blueprints and schematics to complete projects.
Work with hand and power tools to assemble panels.
Maintain high attention to detail throughout the building process.
Collaborate effectively within a team, working in groups of 1-2 to tackle each panel type.
Ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are met.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience as an electrician.
Proficiency in blueprint utilization and reading schematics.
Experience in electrical panel building.
Detail-oriented mindset.
Skill in using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with live wiring.
MIG welding skills.
Fabrication experience with aluminum and metal.
Proficiency with metal band saws and drill presses.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr.
