Role Overview: Lead and direct the Safety department, championing occupational safety within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Safety Champion.

• Oversee EH&S functions.

• Lead the Behavior-Based Safety program and data analysis.

• Advise on compliance and policies across facilities.

• Conduct hazard identification and abatement.

• Lead accident investigations and causation abatement.

• Perform safety inspections and prepare audits.

• Administer workers' compensation claims.

• Coordinate OSHA safety training and maintain documentation.

• Ensure compliance with all laws and company policies.

• Collaborate on safety/certification training and compliance.

• Maintain injury/accident data documentation.

• Compile and submit required reports.

• Maintain standards for cleanliness, housekeeping, and safety.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Strong safety program management and engagement skills.

• Experience in Safety, Security, OSHA, and Worker’s Comp in manufacturing/warehousing, in food and or beverage industry.

• PSM/Risk Management background preferred.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of safety/worker’s compensation laws.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent EHS certification(s) + 5 years EHS experience.

• Current OSHA-30 Hour (General Industry) Card.
