The Sales Team at the Hilton Columbus Downtown is currently seeking a Director of Sales to work at our award-winning property. Bring your talents to the table in a creative, dynamic atmosphere, with teammates that share the same passion for hospitality!

The Hilton Columbus Downtown , located near Arena District, Short North Arts District, and North Market, is now the largest hotel in Ohio with 1,000 rooms and 75,000 square feet of meeting space! What will I be doing?

As a Hotel Director of Sales, you would be responsible for leading the sales team and ensuring that revenue targets are met. You would be expected to increase occupancy and generate revenue by developing and leading your team to implement sales strategies that target specific markets such as corporate, leisure, or group. Your daily tasks may include analyzing market trends to understand customer needs, identifying new business opportunities, developing pricing strategies, coordinating sales activities with other departments, and managing the sales team.

• Manage the hotel's sales team and create sales goals to meet revenue targets.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the hotel's customer base and increase revenue.

• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, including corporate clients, event planners, and travel agencies.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and service.

• Analyze market trends, identify new markets and opportunities, and create plans to capitalize on them.

• Create and maintain sales reports to track performance and progress toward goals.

• Attend industry conferences and events to network and gather information about the latest trends and strategies.

• Manage the hotel's pricing strategy and negotiate contracts with clients to ensure maximum profitability.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
