Job Description

We are looking for a Devops Engineer to creating CICD using Gitlab and other inhouse tools. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with developers by creating CICD using Gitlab and other inhouse tools. Most of the daily tasks involve in creating builds and deploy the latest code and configurations to various non-production environments and production regions.

  • Highly involved in architectural discussions to apply ETS standards and provide optimization to the applications. part is allocated with the infrastructure development and modes of approaches to imbibe the IT standards.

  • Infrastructure setup, system enhancements and upgrades. Closely working with architect and development leads for any new project re-architecture and implementing efficient systems solutions.

  • Coordinate with software engineers/developers, business analysts and other engineering teams to keep the release successful.

  • Solve the issues raised by the development team and giving them support throughout the project maintenance.it involves daily troubleshooting environmental issues and provide resolution immediately to the team to continue with their activities and remove any road blocks.

  • Involvement in total SDLC lifecycle of project till the time of production. The Software Development Life Cycle standards derived by the Client ETS.

  • Support all infrastructure upgrades and run POC to upgrade any new technology that will bring optimization. It involves in working with different tools that can be tested and prove its capability of optimizing the application. We always thrive to provide the best solutions to maintain the application at minimum resource cost.

  • Highly available to do nightly builds and support all release schedules and build drops to all the non-production and production regions. Must be highly available to jump on to any Production issues and Non-production Issues that might be a road block to teams to perform and complete any deliverables in our IT Domain.

  • Provide automated solutions for a complete continuous build of an application and automated deployments and test the application health after the deployment is stable.

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Experience: 8 to 15 years

  • Linux,

  • AWS CLI,

  • AWS CFT,

  • AWS EC2, ECS, ALB, etc., service exposure,

  • JBOSS Application Server,

  • Apache Webserver,

  • Git and GitHub,

  • Docker,

  • Scripting Experience with Python, Shell/Bash.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
