Decision Support Sr Analyst - PFK Business Services Requisition ID 2024-52775 Category Information Technology Overview Decision Support Senior Analyst - PFK Business Services Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Salary, Exempt Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm The Senior Decision Support Analyst is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of reports, datasets, and dashboards supporting PFK's population health, quality improvement and financial reporting work streams. The Senior Decision Support Analyst will analyze complex datasets, communicate timely and accurate results to business leaders, detect and investigate data anomalies, and uncover patterns or trends that can drive change. Responsibilities * Translate business requirements into solutions for customers utilizing business intelligence tools and methodologies. * Analyze healthcare utilization and expense trends. * Mine, analyze, and visualize large, complex datasets. * Build prospective models of financials, utilization patterns, and intervention opportunities. * Build provider incentive reporting using HEDIS and other population health quality measures. * Test raw data from payors, as well as internal or external aggregated data sets. * Protect patient and provider confidentiality and data security by following organization and department policies, payor requirements and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA. Qualifications Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Preferred fields of study include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Information Management, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science. Skills: * Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong SQL and Excel skills required. * Attention to detail and ability to function independently with minimal oversight. Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication to effectively interact with Partners For Kids staff, community-partners, risk-partners, and external contacts. * Ability to manage multiple projects and complete each thoroughly, accurately and on-time. Experience: *Minimum 5 years of experience analyzing healthcare data. Claims data experience preferred. *Experience creating dashboards in a Business Intelligence too
