We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for a Data Architect III (Senior) in Columbus, Ohio. This role is primarily hybrid, offering the flexibility of working from both office and home. The role functions within the technology industry, focusing on understanding and translating business needs into data models, supporting database users and developers, and ensuring database systems meet company and performance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into comprehensive data models

• Provide consultation and support to database users and developers

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data

• Evaluate client operations applications and programming for API management and Microservices to identify database structural necessities

• Assess database implementation procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations

• Install and organize information systems to ensure company functionality

• Prepare database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams

• Recommend improvements for new and existing database systems

• Educate and support staff members through training on database systems

• Research new technologies to update knowledge and improve database systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint is essential

• Experience in database development, implementation, and workstation support

• Familiarity with retail and financial services sectors

• Strong planning and budget processes skills

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with the C-Suite and negotiate effectively

• Proven experience in operations and procedures management

• A solid background in engineering, programming, and statistics

• Strong research analysis skills

• Experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with HealthCare.gov, is a plus

• Ability to provide consultation and training services

• Expertise in managing timelines for various projects

• Previous exposure to the retail sector is advantageous.
