Description We are seeking a Cost Accountant to join our team in COLUMBUS, Ohio. In this role, you will be contributing to our financial analysis processes, focusing on cost and efficiency, as well as profitability analysis. Additionally, you will be involved in our month-end close procedures and the creation and standardization of processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting cost and efficiency analysis to support financial decision-making processes

• Performing profitability analysis for individual customers to optimize business strategies

• Assisting in the month-end close process, with a focus on Fixed Assets

• Developing and standardizing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Utilizing accounting software systems to process and maintain financial data

• Supporting the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing

• Engaging in auditing activities to ensure financial compliance and accuracy

• Participating in budget processes, contributing to the development and monitoring of financial plans

• Managing cash activity to maintain accurate financial records

• Leveraging the Enterprise Resource Planning system to streamline accounting functions. Requirements

• Previous Cost Accounting experience
