Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Business Systems Analyst who will provide business and systems analysis support as part of an agile scrum team on a DC area Government contract. This position is remote but prefer someone in the DC area.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, data and system requirements, mockups, and business and system workflows. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. Knowledge of Dynamics is helpful but not required. Requires knowledge of data structures, business processes and workflows, and working directly with the Government Product Owner on requirements. Experience in mockups is needed. Experience in Agile and system software documentation such as Requirements Documents and RTMs.

• Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. Experience writing user stories and Acceptance Criteria. Preparing for and leading grooming sessions.

• Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization. Work directly with analysts and testers on the other integrated systems.

• Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out. Requirements Documentation, RTMs, and UAT scenarios. Producing workflows and draft mockups.

• Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage. Support regression testing. Perform Functional Testing.

• Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program. Act as main point of contact for assigned change requests.

• Support sprint demos and participate in agile ceremonies.

• Ability to handle competing priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelors with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience:

• Agile environment writing user stories and Acceptance Criteria

• Requirements and SDLC documentation

• Workflows in Visio or similar

• Screen mockups for updates and new functionality

• Functional and system testing

• Clearance Required: Must be able to acquire and maintain PBGC Public Trust

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• MS Dynamics or similar CRM product

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
