This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Job Accountabilities: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Project Management: Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring AI/ML projects are completed on time and within budget. Agile Methodologies: Implement and promote Agile practices within the team, facilitating Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing workloads. Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring best practices in data engineering and AI/ML are followed. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and resource availability. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology with focus in data engineering, analytics and/or content management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an AI/ML environment. Agile Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of AI/ML tools and technologies, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, Python, Hadoop, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Project Management: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project) and methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
