This position is remote but requires in home visits across region 7 . Travel may vary and the region covers Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. Applicants can be from any of these states since the position is remote.

Position Summary:
Working under a grant from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), the Post Release Services (PRS) Case Manager Level 2 provides Level 2 post release services including conducting initial in-home assessments, ongoing monthly assessments, plans, connection to community-based services, and other services either in-person or virtually, depending on wellbeing of the child. PRS Case Managers must have knowledge of local community social services and specialized experience working with immigrant populations. They should be knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, human services, and/or general child welfare. PRS case managers provide Level Two (2) PRS and may also provide Level One (1) PRS. Required travel includes initial in-home assessment followed by monthly in-home or virtual visits with in-person home visits at least every 90 days.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level Two (2) post release services.
Conduct initial in-home assessments and monthly engagements.
One in-person home visit every 90 days.
Preform ongoing assessments.
Connect children to community services.
Carry a minimum caseload of 15.
Establish working relationships with community-based organizations.
Have a case management approach that assesses, plans, facilitates, and advocates for unaccompanied children and their sponsors using knowledge of social services and human services.
Follow all ORR guidelines and policy requirements.
Reports into PRS Caseworker Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years old.
Bachelor’s degree in social work (BSW) or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other behavioral science.
Experience working with immigrant populations.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS preferred.
Proficient in the use of ORR’s Official System of Record (also known as the UC Portal).
Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries, and C/ANs check.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with an active motor vehicle license, reliable automobile, a good driving record, and 100/300 insurance coverage on personally owned vehicle.
Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of persons served.
Must live within a 100-mile radius of the city they will be focused on supporting.
Travel required to states within assigned region.
