We are continually seeking bright and talented individuals to join our team. Compensation: $26.88 to $29.56/ hr. Work Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. General Summary: Under the direction of the executive assistant, administrative supervisor, Investments, perform diverse and advanced administrative support for State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS Ohio) Investments department. Summary of Responsibilities: Develop PowerPoint presentations, coordinate and edit agendas, meeting summaries and other materials in support of the overall goals of the Investment department. Produce external, compliance and quarterly reports for investment Asset Class Heads, managers and traders. Provide backup and assistance for other administrative assistants in arranging travel and various other duties. Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings. Assist in preparation of materials, development of logistics, setup, invitations, etc. for meetings. Provide various administrative duties for the investment department. Prepare and present special projects as directed. The above list of duties is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by persons assigned to this classification. Summary of Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. College-level course work with emphasis in business preferred. Five years' administrative assistant experience in a business office preferred. Experience creating PowerPoint presentations required. Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred. Ability to preserve confidential information required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with internal and external contacts required. Excellent organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment while meeting strict deadlines with minimal direct supervision required. Proven ability to operate Microsoft Office programs and standard office equipment required. Excellent work record of attendance, punctuality and the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet business needs. Occasional evening, weekend and non-regular work hours may be required.
