Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily accounting operations and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the financial status of the company. Provide insight and analysis of key financial performance metrics.

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and proper account classifications.

• Review and prepare journal entries as needed, ensuring they are accurate and appropriately recorded in the general ledger.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting their professional development.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices for greater efficiency in the accounting function.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred

• 5+ years related accounting experience, previous public accounting experience HIGHLY preferred

• Strong knowledge and experience with pivot tables and V-lookups in Excel.

• ERP experience required

• 2+ years in a supervisory role
