Acloché is seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Welder to join our team in the Southside of Columbus area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks by adhering to blueprints and drawings, ensuring precision and quality in every job.

• Job Title: 3rd Shift Welder
• Location: Southside of Columbus Area
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
• Pay: $19.00

*Job Description: /Key Responsibilities: *

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to prepare for welding tasks.
• Measure and plan layout and procedures based on project specifications.
• Select and set up appropriate welding equipment and methods according to requirements.
• Cut materials to specified dimensions using powered saws for preparation.
• Angle grinders and other tools are used to prepare the parts for welding.
• Align components accurately with tools such as calipers and rulers, and securely clamp pieces.
• Perform welding using manual or semi-automatic methods in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Repair machinery and components by welding parts and filling gaps as needed.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify any defects or flaws.
• Maintain welding equipment to ensure safety and operating effectiveness.

*Qualifications: *

• Proven experience as a welder.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with various welding techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
