Columbus Regional Hospital Pharmacy Operations Coordinator in Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about the position:

  • Round the clock department servicing every area of patient care within the hospital with more than 45 dynamic workers consisting of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

  • The Pharmacy Operations Coordinator will drive operational pharmacy practice within the health system. This role will work closely with pharmacy leaders and be responsible for preparation, planning, and coordinating daily pharmacy operational workflows and aid with regulatory compliance in key areas of ACHC, USP and the Board of Pharmacy.

  • The position will also be responsible for Pharmacy operational policy updates and renewals and development of staff clinical educational offerings.

  • The coordinator will maintain advanced knowledge of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and provide staffing and clinical pharmacy assistance as needed.

  • The base annualized salary for this position is $119,766. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

  • This full-time position will require you to work primarily Monday through Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM, with occasional evenings or weekends.

    What is required for this position:

    Education and/or Experience

  • Pharmacy degree from a fifth-year college or university program equivalent required.

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and prior experience as a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY!) resident strongly preferred, but not required.

    Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Indiana Pharmacist license required
