Columbus Regional Hospital Manager - Nurse Intensive Care Unit in Columbus, Indiana
What you need to know about this position:
Reporting to the Director – Clinical Operations Nursing Services, this Nursing Manager is part of dynamic interdisciplinary team of leaders focused on achieving excellence in clinical, quality and operational performance.
The Manager - Nurse ICU will lead the daily operations of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to ensure continuous operations and long-term alignment of the service line’s clinical and financial goals.
Our ICU is an 18 bed critical care unit with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:2-3 - caring for patients who are recovering from open-heart surgery 1-2 days post surgery or patients are on intubation, ventilation and life-sustaining medication drips.
Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base pay compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
This position is a salaried/exempt position with the general working hours of Monday – Friday 7am-4pm though the exact working hours may fluctuate based on the needs of the organization.
What the successful candidate will bring to this position:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, Masters Degree in Nursing or Business preferred.
At least 2-4 years of clinical experience appropriate to critical care population.
At least 2 years of experience in progressive leadership roles.
Indiana Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) required.
Relevant professional Nursing Certification preferred.
Within 30 days of hire you must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
