We are a reputable firm based in Columbus, Indiana, specializing in various construction projects including fieldhouses, food processing facilities, corporate centers, and credit union headquarters. Known for our focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, we have built a solid reputation over the years. We are currently seeking a new Project Manager to join our team, as our long-serving Project Manager is retiring after 35 years of dedicated service.
Responsibilities
Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work, required contents, and time constraints of projects during the bidding phase.
Create, maintain, and monitor project schedules and performance.
Assign duties, monitor, and evaluate the performance of the Assistant Project Manager.
Provide input to personnel responsible for developing plans and specs on design-build projects.
Participate in presentations to clients, as required.
Work with General/Project Superintendents to schedule material deliveries.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with owners, customer personnel, subcontractors, vendors, etc.
Lead pre-construction efforts, including providing constructability and value-engineering analysis and subcontractor and vendor scoping and pricing.
Secure permits as required.
Assist in conforming to safety, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), insurance, and labor relations requirements.
Partner with Health, Safety, and Environmental personnel to ensure projects follow safe working conditions and practices.

Essential Skills
4-8 years of experience as a Project Manager for a General Contractor
Proficiency in construction or project management software similar to Procore and Trimble/Viewpoint Vista
A college degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Experience with ground-up construction of pre-engineered metal buildings
Experience managing budgets of $5 million or more
Strong sense of personal ethics and a team player
Additional Skills & Qualifications
8-10 years of experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
Experience in estimating construction projects
Additional experience with Trimble or Viewpoint Vista, Procore
Steel building and erecting experience
Work Environment
The position requires working 5 days per week, involving both office work and site visits. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
