Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipe Welders for projects located in Columbia, SC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $25/hr based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Prep pipe fittings and pipe ends for full penetration welds on pipe assemblies

• Read and interpret drawings engineering sketches and blueprints

• GTA weld on carbon steel stainless steel and duplex stainless steel

• Calculate pipe fitting take-outs on piping measurements

• Weld pipe diameters ranging from 1/2 to 36 in all position

• Operate a high frequency amperage control foot pedal while welding

• Weld structural steel in all positions

• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in MIG and carbon welding

• Must pass various weld tests

• Passing of Background check and drug screen

• Must have hood rod and PPE

• Must be able to work in confined spaces
