The Lead Systems Engineer is responsible for the oversight of multiple systems and projects, including policy management, compliance, and automation across the following products. M365 suite, Outlook, Viva Engage, SharePoint, Teams and Lucid.
Lead Systems Engineer
This position will also be accountable for implementing business continuity and oversee and evaluate the above platforms for device system security, privacy, new device solutions across different lines of business, and backup processes.
This role will be an instrumental part of growing the Collab and productivity tools across Humana’s many different lines of business. They will partner closely with peers across Architecture, Product Management, Support Services, and Experience & Design.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of Microsoft Collaboration tools like Office 365 and Teams experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, specific to workplace technology solutions.
5+ years of Systems Engineering ITIL experience, in design, analysis, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems software solutions and infrastructure.
Experience designing and implementing highly scalable management systems and controls leveraging products including Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or other similar EMM solutions.
Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all partners (management, business users, and technology resources).
Demonstrated extensive knowledge managing large, complex initiatives in a results-driven environment, and accountability of deadlines and value propositions.
Strong knowledge of data governance, risk management and information security processes including SOC, CIS, NIST, HIPAA and PCI.
Experience creating strategic roadmaps, reference architecture and engineering artifacts.
Expertise working with user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Experience with expanding a Bring Your Own Device solution across an enterprise.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field or any combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
5+ years combined hands-on engineering and architecture experience (TOGAF) with public and private cloud, distributed computing, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and custom developed solutions.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.
Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$115,300 - $158,600 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
