Robert Half is hiring! We are in search of an IT Security Specialist to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will be tasked with various responsibilities that center around the safety and security of our information systems and networks. You will be involved in the administration of our Identity Access Management program, execution of vulnerability scans, and the provision of cybersecurity awareness training among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and respond to alerts from cybersecurity tools, network devices, and information systems, proposing remediation measures where necessary.

• Coordinate with business units in managing the Identity Access Management program.

• Conduct vulnerability scans across networks and applications to identify security weaknesses.

• Oversee the deployment of updates and patches on organization systems, ensuring their successful completion.

• Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training to employees.

• Provide timely technical support, resolving problems and responding to requests, while maintaining open communication with users about project status and deadlines.

• Manage physical security controls, including but not limited to, security badges and camera systems.

• Review and analyze security logs daily, responding to and remediating any security incidents or suspicious activities.

• Assist in maintaining the IT Security Department's procedures, processes, diagrams, etc.

Requirements • Proficiency in Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and other Cisco Technologies

• Extensive knowledge of Firewall Technologies

• Experience with AB Testing procedures and applications

• Proven track record in auditing IT security systems

• Expertise in Configuration Management

• Strong understanding and experience in Cyber Security

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Relevant IT Security certifications would be advantageous

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
