Inspire the next generation of Electricians! Lincoln Tech in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced Electricians with experience in Fire Alarm & Security Alarm systems to share their passion for the industry and teach in our Electrical and Electronics Systems and Technology program. No teaching experience? Don't worry, Lincoln Tech has successfully transitioned experienced electricians with limited or no teaching experience into successful educators.

Key Qualifications

3+ years’ experience in the Security Alarm and Fire Alarm industry.

• Fire Alarm System and Intrusion System Installation and Programming

• Knowledge of conventional and addressable systems

• Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Of Fire Alarm Systems

• Knowledge of Codes

• CCTV, Access Control, and NICET Certified a plus

Responsibilities

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Electrical and Electronics Systems in our fully equipped facility.

• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.

• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability,

• Evaluate and communicate progress with students.

• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance.

• Great communication skills

• Proficient with technology

• Teaching experience a plus

• High school diploma/GED
